Kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and platypus - they're iconic Australian wildlife species and many are easy to see in the wild across the Scenic Rim.

For shier, more illusive species, the expert knowledge of a guide is useful. It's also fun to know which bird, frog, or fluffy creature you're looking at and how best to spot wildlife. The Scenic Rim is one of Australia's 15 biodiversity hotspots and we're also part of the third most species-rich regions in Australia.
